2003年本科畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)，2008年獲中科院計(jì)算所博士學(xué)位，2010-2012年普林斯頓大學(xué)博士后?，F(xiàn)為中科院計(jì)算所研究員、博士生導(dǎo)師、先進(jìn)計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)研究中心常務(wù)副主任、華為-計(jì)算所聯(lián)合實(shí)驗(yàn)室執(zhí)行負(fù)責(zé)人、技術(shù)委員會(huì)主任。研究方向主要是計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)結(jié)構(gòu)，研制的訪存監(jiān)控系統(tǒng)、DMA優(yōu)化技術(shù)在華為、Intel等國(guó)內(nèi)外企業(yè)應(yīng)用。普林斯頓大學(xué)博士后期間發(fā)布的多核基準(zhǔn)程序集PARSEC 3.0下載已逾1萬(wàn)次，在計(jì)算機(jī)體系結(jié)構(gòu)領(lǐng)域被廣泛應(yīng)用。面向云計(jì)算數(shù)據(jù)中心的軟件定義服務(wù)器新架構(gòu)（PARD）研究的相關(guān)技術(shù)在華為海思芯片落地應(yīng)用，入選華為全球合作五個(gè)代表性成果寫入華為2015年報(bào)。
包云崗研究員在ASPLOS、HPCA、ISCA、SIGMETRICS、SC等計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)國(guó)際會(huì)議期刊發(fā)表了30余篇論文，多次擔(dān)任ASPLOS、SC等國(guó)際頂級(jí)會(huì)議程序委員會(huì)委員。曾兩次獲中科院計(jì)算所優(yōu)秀論文一等獎(jiǎng)，獲首屆2013年 「CCF-Intel青年學(xué)者」獎(jiǎng)，受邀參加2015年國(guó)際計(jì)算機(jī)著名論壇（Dagstuhl Seminar）數(shù)據(jù)中心專題，入選2016年度中國(guó)計(jì)算機(jī)大會(huì)（CNCC）特邀主旨講者。擔(dān)任中國(guó)計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)會(huì)理事、普及工作委員會(huì)主任、《中國(guó)計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)會(huì)通訊》編委，中科院青年創(chuàng)新促進(jìn)會(huì)理事。
